Resumen

This paper tends to build an econometric model in the perspective of the endogenous growth and new economy geography, and examines how the spill-over effect and scale economies of logistics agglomeration affected the development of Chinese logistics industry based on the panel data of 31 provinces between 2003 and 2012. The results show that the spill-over effect of logistics agglomeration has made a significant contribution to the logistics development among all the provinces while the impact of scale economies upon logistics sectors is restricted within the central and western regions.
