Perfis de competências relativas à inteligência competitiva: um estudo exploratório no Brasil

Resumen

A competição entre organizações e nações torna cada vez mais importante a inteligência competitiva (IC) e o desenvolvimento dos profissionais para a consolidação dessa atividade. O objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar o perfil de competências do profissional de IC no Brasil, com vistas ao estabelecimento do processo de gestão de pessoas por competência (GPC) nessa área. O levantamento de dados se baseou na utilização de uma Web survey com a participação de profissionais de múltiplas áreas de atividade e de conhecimento envolvidos com IC no Brasil, com abordagem exploratória. Foram identificados atributos de competência que se mostraram mais importantes para atuação em IC, com base na análise da percepção dos participantes da pesquisa e nos resultados obtidos anteriormente por outros autores. Verificaram-se relações entre habilidades específicas e as funções de coordenador, analista e coletor próprias da IC, além da influência da experiência sobre habilidades relevantes. Os resultados permitiram elaborar um referencial de atributos de competência associados a conhecimentos, habilidades e atitudes que pode ser útil para o profissional interessado e na gestão de recursos humanos para realização de diagnósticos, recrutamento, treinamento e desenvolvimento de pessoas e equipes, inclusive, a implantação e instrumentalização da GPC na área de IC. The aim of this research is to identify the competence profile of the professionals involved with Competitive Intelligence in Brazil, towards establishing a process of Competence Based Management approach for this Intelligence area. For the data collection Brazilian professionals of multiple activities and knowledge areas involved in Competitive Intelligence have participated in a Web Survey, and an exploratory approach was used. Important competence attributes for Competitive Intelligence were identified, taking in to account the analysis of the perception of research participants and the results previously obtained by other authors. Relationships between specific attributes and typical Competitive Intelligence functions of coordinator, analyst and collector, as well as the influence of experience on relevant competences could be observed. The results allowed establishing a framework of competence attributes related to knowledge, skills and attitudes competence categories. This framework can be useful for interested professionals and for human resources managers to perform diagnostics, recruiting and personal and team development in Competitive Intelligence, as well as for building management tools and development of a Competence Based Management process in the Competitive Intelligence area.Keywords: Competitive Intelligence.
