Technical means of mechanization and automatization of the sorting process at the hump yards

Resumen

The history of development of working technology and technical equipment of the marshalling devices for reclassification of wagons at Ukrainian and foreign railway stations is analyzed. The description of modern automated systems of managing the process of breaking-up trains is presented. The necessity of preliminary estimation of automation for the marshalling complex is indicated.
