Resumen
Com base em estudos e reflexões sobre desenvolvimento, esta pesquisa analisou a Política Nacional de Desenvolvimento Regional (PNDR), do Ministério da Integração Nacional (MI), no Brasil. Para tanto, o presente artigo realizou a investigação do entendimento da alta gerência da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Regional (SDR), responsávelpela execução da PNDR. Primeiramente, buscou instigar a reflexão sobre desenvolvimento, subsidiado por renomados autores/pesquisadores do tema. Depois, há uma contextualização da PNDR, cujos resultados avaliam a implementação desta política pública, sob a ótica de seus partícipes, e mostram alguns dos fatores que impulsionam o desenvolvimentolocal e regional, além de trazer recomendações e ensinamentos que podem ser aplicados, para futuros desdobramentos, em projetos ou programas dessa natureza.Palavras-chave: Desenvolvimento, política pública, desenvolvimento local e regional, Ministério da Integração Nacional, Brasil.REFLECTIONS ON DEVELOPMENT IN BRAZIL: a study on the National Regional DevelopmentAbstract: Based on studies and reflections on development, this study analyzes the National Policy For Regional Development (PNDR), by the Ministry for National Integration (MI) in Brazil. Thus, in this article, took effect to investigate the understanding of top management of the Secretariat for Regional Development (SDR), responsible for implementing of the PNDR. First, we searched for instigating the reflection on development subsidized by renowned authors/researchers of the subject. Afterwards, there is a context of the PNDR, that the results evaluate the implementation of public policy, from the perspective of its participants, and show some of the factors that drive local and regional development, in addition to providing recommendations and lessons that can be applied, for the future developments, in projects or programs of its kind.Key words: Development, public policy, local and regional development, Ministry for National Integration, Brazil.
