Este trabalho apresenta parte dos estudos e pesquisas realizados no GEPES/UFF sobre o processo de Contrarreforma do Ensino Superior nas IFES do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, particularmente na UNIRIO. Aponta que a contrarreforma do Ensino Superior não é algo isolado, mas faz parte de uma profunda reconfiguração do setor público realizado pela contrarreforma do Estado Brasileiro, implementada nos governos Fernando Henrique Cardoso (1995-2002) e Luís Inácio Lula da Silva (2003-2009) e que está alterando profundamente as universidades federais brasileiras. This counter-reform of university education is not isolated but part of a major reconfiguration of the public sector held by the counter-reform of the Brazilian government implemented by Fernando Henrique Cardoso (1995-2002) and Luís Inácio Lula da Silva (2003-2009) and is profoundly changing the Brazilian Federal Universities.
