Health Physics Aspects of a Uranium Laser Isotope Separation Facility

Joseph John Bevelacqua

Resumen

Laser isotope separation is an advanced uranium enrichment technology.  It selectively enriches 235U without incurring the negative health physics consequences associated with increased 234U enrichment.  Laser technology increases the efficiency of the 235U enrichment process, but also presents a proliferation risk.
