THE EFFICIENCY OF BRAKING PERFORMANCE OF PASSENGER TRAINS - ACTUAL AND REGULATIONS

Resumen

The results of braking test of passenger trains equipped with cast iron and composite braking shoes have been provided; the causes of the braking efficiency decline have been stated; recommendations on improvement of the standards and increase of the train braking force have been made.
