Resumen
Este artigo aborda os resultados da pesquisa "A participação das mulheres na construção da agenda política", desenvolvida junto ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Serviço Social da Universidade Federal do Pará. Tem como objetivo central contribuir com a produção de conhecimentos sobre os avanços e os recuos na incorporação do fator gênero nos Planos de Governo, na administração local, frente ao contexto das transformações societárias contemporâneas e suas expressões particulares no município de Belém. Em nível metodológico, realiza entrevistas com mulheres dos movimentos feministas, prefeitos e secretários dos governos municipais que estiveram em exercício nos anos de 1998 e 2006.Palavras-chave: Mulher, política pública, participação, agenda política.WOMEN AND DEMOCRATIC MANAGEMENT: a local challengeAbstract: The current article presents the results of the research "Women's involvement in the construction of political appointments.This study was developed within the Social Work graduate Program in the Federal University Of Pará. The main idea of this article is to contribute with knowledge production about the advances and back outs considering the gender inclusion in government's plans, in local administration, in comtemporary society changes context and their particular expressions in the Brazilian city of Belém. In terms of research methodology there were interviewed women of feminist movements, the mayor and municipal secretaries in the years of 1998 and 2006.Keywords: Woman, public policies, participation, political agenda.
