FEATURES OF ULTRASONIC TESTING OF ROLLED WHEEL CENTERS LOCOMOTIVES IN THE RADIAL DIRECTION

O. M. Kirieiev

Resumen

The article presents the results of experimental and theoretical research on application of ?DD-diagrams for estimation of admissibility of defects in ultrasonic control of the rolled wheel centers in radial direction. The application of this method will eliminate the need of producing the standard manufacturer?s samples and reduce the error in estimation of defects admissibility. The results of the study have been used at OJSC Luganskteplovoz in introduction of ultrasonic control of the rolled locomotive wheel centers for absence of impermissible internal metal defects.
