Resumen

Discrepancy of parameters of the track and rolling stock interaction with standards of Russian and CIS countries railways leads to the sharp increase of rails defects, rails and wheels wear the maximum of which falls on 1995. An elimination of supernormal railway track narrowing has positive effect on the reduction of wheels and rails defects.
