Closed-Form Method for Atmospheric Correction (CMAC) of Smallsat Data Using Scene Statistics

David P. Groeneveld
Timothy A. Ruggles and Bo-Cai Gao

Resumen

CMAC software provides reliable and accurate conversion of degraded top-of-atmosphere imagery to surface reflectance. Accomplished in near real-time using only scene statistics, CMAC can reside in-satellite to support low-latency corrected image output to support smallsat?s emerging role for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
