Resumen
O artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa sobre a representação da sociedade civil nos conselhos municipais de Assistência Social do Espírito Santo (CMAS-ES), enfatizando aspectos como o perfil dos representantes e a participação dos profissionais da área. Realiza um debate a partir das premissas teóricas e legais do controle social democrático. Apresenta os resultados de um levantamento de dados que inclui a aplicação de questionários e a análise de documentos oficiais. Ressalta que a categorização dos conselheiros da sociedade civil, segundo o tipo de representação, vínculo religioso, área de atuação, entre outras, revela o perfil da onguização, Por fim, aponta a disparidade que existeentre a efetiva presença religiosa e a escassez de representantes dos trabalhadores da área nos CMAS.Palavras-chave: Controle social democrático, Política de Assistência Social, conselhos, representação.ONE, TWO, THREE, THE CHOSEN ONE IS THEE! civil society and the municipal councils of social assistance in the state of espírito santoAbstract: This paper presents the results of an investigation on the social assistance policy at municipal councils of(CMAS) emphasizes aspects such as the profile of civil society representatives in those spaces and the participation ofprofessionals engaged in policy assistance. It presents the results of a data collection which includes questionnaires and analysis of officialdocuments.
