Resumen
El artículo tiene por objetivo diseñar el método de instrucción policial, para dar respuesta a las necesidades de la Policía Nacional de Colombia y en especial a la Dirección Nacional de Escuelas. Como fundamentación teórica se tomaron conceptos sobre el diseño instruccional y de la teoría de aprendizaje de Robert Gagné. Por otra parte, la presente investigación se desarrolló con el enfoque cualitativo, donde se realizó la recolección de información con grupos focales integrados por expertos en educación policial, entrevistas a expertos en instrucción y un análisis bibliográfico sobre el tema de estudio. Como resultado, se presenta que todo enfoque pedagógico aplica para la instrucción policial, así como los perfiles y competencias del instructor, las cuales están asociadas con la experiencia en el servicio de policía y el estudio de técnicas docentes; así mismo propone el desarrollo de la instrucción en nueve pasos. Por último, se establece la necesidad de capacitación para los instructores con el fin de fortalecer el diseño, desarrollo y evaluación de la instrucción policial, así como las habilidades comunicativas de saber escuchar, leer, hablar y escribir; sumado a esto se propone también incorporar técnicas de coaching educativo. AbstractThe article aims to design the method of police training, to respond to the needs of the National Police of Colombia and especially the National Directorate of Schools. As a theoretical foundation, concepts on instructional design and Robert Gagné's learning theory were taken. On the other hand, the present investigation was developed with the qualitative approach, where the gathering of information was carried out with focal groups composed of experts in police education, interviews with experts in instruction and a bibliographical analysis on the subject of study. As a result, it is presented that every pedagogical approach applies to police training, as well as the profiles and competencies of the instructor, which are associated with experience in the police service and the study of teaching techniques; He also proposes the development of instruction in nine steps.
