Accurate and Rapid Auto-Focus Methods Based on Image Quality Assessment for Telescope Observation

Resumen

In this paper, the problem of fast autofocus for the telescope observation had been solved. Based on the image quality assessment, a fast and effective method of selecting the focus window was used and multiple focus evaluation functions were compared. It is found that the method proposed in this paper can be applied to telescopes or similar optical systems.
