Resumen
This study proposes a haptic vest and a sensing glove for transferring the tactile information from the fingers to the back. We developed a haptic vest installed with 80 voice-coil type vibrators and a sensing glove that can detect up to 100 points of fingertip pressure distribution with an interval of 2 mm. We conducted perceptual experiments to evaluate the device performance and user experience. It was found that when the glove and haptic vest were used, the shapes of figures could be recognized correctly when compared to the case where only the glove was worn.
