Resumen
Dutch Colonial built a circulation path that connected cities on the North coast of Java. How was the city linkage? The methods used are historical and grounded research methods. The explanation of the city linkages has not reached the knowledge about the city layout. The postal road passed the traditional city center through the traditional square and built the post office near it to shown its existence in the traditional city center. The existence of the post office, traditional square, and postal road until now characterize the city landscape in Java so it should be a unity in the city's conservation efforts. Keywords: Postal road; Post; Java; Conservation; Dutch.eISSN: 2398-4287 © 2019.
