Resumen
With a population over 10 million people and the region's economic growth rate of 7% per year, then the Jabodetabek area is the largest mega-regions in Indonesia. As the consequences, the complexity of the transportation problems in the region increased in line with economic and population growth. This paper discusses the development of a model for understanding the dynamics complexity of the interaction between land use and transport in Greater Jakarta suburb. The Model indicates the existence of a unique phenomenon of dynamic complexity occurring in the study area named " spatial trade off " of a development policy.
