Resumen

Features of destruction of the compressed stone designs have been specified. The influence of the bricks bandaging methods and their stacking in horizontal rows on durability of the laying has been established. A technique of assessment and selection of rational cross-sections of the compressed elements with the use of iso-perimetric characteristics has been developed. The results of the work have been confirmed by research publications and patented inventions.
