Resumen
Through the interpretative framework of political economy which involves the new patterns of capital accumulation, this article shows current dynamics registered in the balance of payments in Colombia corresponding to the consolidation of an enclave economic model. This model has been strengthened in extractive production processes, financialization, transnationalization and denationalization of economy. Thus, special attention is given to the need to guide macroeconomic policy towards a national sustainable development.
