Resumen
The article deals with issues related to the development of digital railways. The railway sector is an integral part of all industrial progress and continues to advance the boundaries of digitization and technology, speaking in many countries as the locomotive of the digital economy. For passengers, the digital railway is the only way to achieve a gradual change in the quantity and quality of services without costly and destructive heavy engineering work. In urban areas, this means that passengers will be able to obtain services more similar to the metro than to the railway that we see today, with real-time information configured for each passenger. Naturally, in the processes of digital transformations, there are common key components. One of them is a formalized ontology, the development of which in the world today is paid the most attention. The article deals with ontologies, which are used in the European projects of high-speed railways. The authors hope that the examples proposed for discussion can be interesting and useful for Russian railways that are carrying out their digital transformations. Formalized ontological solutions and open repositories of formalized knowledge should help domestic transport companies.
