Resumen

The use of exogenous enzymes helps improve the digestibility of nutrients and intestinal health, reducing the potential environmental impact. The objective was evaluate the effects of the addition of two enzymatic complexes in the diet of pigs in the growth phase and termination. Two enzymatic complexes were used in the diet with views to assess feed intake, weight gain and feed conversion. Three treatments were used, one positive and two negative treatment with enzyme complexes, Axtra® XAP (consisting of xylanase, amylase and protease) and XB Axtra® were used (composed of arabinoxilanase and glucanase), and ten replicates. The animals were divided into 30 stalls with 6 animals each, in total 180 pigs, 90 males and 90 females of Topigs® lineage. Results showed that in the period 65-158 days of age (growing and finishing phase) had no significant underperformance of enzyme supplementation. Concluding that had no improvement in growth performance of animals with the use of the two enzyme complexes XB and XAP, compared to a positive factor.
