REGULATIONS AND QUALITY AND COMPETITIVENESS IN ROAD TRANSPORT OF GOODS

Resumen

The aim of the article is to present the formal and legal factors determining the quality of services and the competitiveness of road hauliers. Included are: access to the profession of carrier and driver, periodic driver training, contracts and international conventions, the authorization of the European Commission Transport Ministers (EKMT), the protection of transport processes at the state level, the quality of road infrastructure, the technical condition of roads and the safety of road traffic. An attempt has also been made to indicate the relationship between the quality of service and the competitiveness of road hauliers. The basis for inference was the information and data collected in the research process.
