Resumen
Since Argentinian provinces? economic growth is determined by idiosyncratic behaviour, its analysis is a valuable contribution to the studies on regional convergence. This paper takes on an analysis of Sigma and Beta convergence in Argentinian provinces for the 1970 -2007 period, with variables that include human capital, economies of scale, investment and fiscal policy. It also focuses on the effect structural changes exert upon provinces economic growth -with their different productive structures- and its impact on the regional convergence/divergence in Argentina.
