Resumen
Pompe disease is a neurological disease with significant impacts on gait and balance. Therefore, it is important to measure these characteristics in a functional, valid and reliable manner. This investigation used a cross-sectional study design utilizing gait analysis and posturography to quantify the difference between patients with late-onset Pompe disease (LOPD) and matched asymptomatic subjects. These results may be useful to develop more specific and efficient rehabilitation programs depending on the individual abilities of the patients.
