A Novel MOGA-SVM Multinomial Classification for Organ Inflammation Detection

Kwok Tai Chui and Miltiadis D. Lytras

Resumen

In this paper, a novel multi-objective genetic algorithm based support vector machine (MOGA-SVM) has been proposed. A customized similarity kernel has been optimally designed for the multinomial classification of the inflammations of appendix, pancreas, and duodenum. Practically, this methodology can be applied to other classification problems as the concept of the methodology is to customize the kernel to specific application. In order to achieve a better performance using kernel based algorithm, it is highly recommended to use customize kernel instead of traditional kernels.
